History

1997 – 1998

Our first brewery was a 2.5 barrel plant originally from Lundy Island where Simon had previously brewed in 1992 & 1993. In 1997 the brewery was shipped over on the Oldenberg and put in to storage at Pusehill until work was completed on the extension to house it.

1998 – 2002

The brewery remained at Pusehill and was very much part of The Pig on the Hill. The pub showcased any new ales and customers could see the whole brewing process.

2002 – 2005

The brewery moved up to its current location at The Big Sheep. A 5.5 barrel plant was then bought from Dartmoor brewery enabling us to meet with growing demand.

2002

Began bottling for our outlet shop at The Big Sheep and to cater for a new area of clientele.

2004

A new 15.5 barrel plant was commissioned and built locally to take the place of the existing plant, again to meet growing demand.

2005 – Present
